We live in exciting days.  God's mercy is ever fresh and new. I prayerfully urge you to be pro-active about your involvement in the Lord's work. Our ministry together is an opportunity to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, and for the larger purpose of the Kingdom of God.

Some 114 volunteers from our area will minister in Alabama from Oct. 19-23, 2005.  Pray for opportunities to tell them why we are compelled to offer Christian Ministry.  Give a generous offering to help with expenses.  $10,000 is needed.

  NAMB has invited two of our Ministers, Cliff Hudgins and Michael Curry, to tour ministry sites in Hawaii in hopes of developing partnership ministry projects.

Partnership Missions in Hawaii

 In response to an invitation from NAMB, Cliff Hudgins and Michael Curry recently represented the  ABA in a tour of ministry needs in Hawaii.  Consider that only 10% of those in Hawaii are evangelical Christians.  Needs are particularly urgent for work among Filipinos, Hispanics, plus the rich and famous.  Approximately one-half of the Baptist churches there are discouraged, feeling isolated and alone in their ministry.  If you could imagine the outward devastation experienced by those in the Gulf Coast region, Hawaiians experience an inward devastation due to indifference, paganism, ancestor worship, polytheism, and materialism.  The call to assist them in outreach and training is most urgent.  Contact Michael Curry at (540) 397-3629.
